Office Manager (UK)
Kathryn Mecrow is the Office Manager at the Centre for Effective Altruism. She has an undergraduate degree in Law, a Legal Masters in International Human Rights Law and Practice and is studying towards obtaining a Certificate in Charity Law and Governance.
Prior to working with CEA, she was the Administrative Officer at the Future of Humanity Institute (FHI) and provided research assistance to Charity Science Health and Piers Millet on x-risks arising from biotechnology. She has worked as a project manager, legal researcher, and university lecturer in Bangladesh, India, Malaysia, and Ethiopia, and provided consultancy services to corporate and non-corporate organizations around the world. Her particular interests are law, community health and optimizing operational systems.
